La necesidad de incrementar la productividad y posible incursión en otros mercados incentivan a las empresas a modificar los horizontes ya propuestos y a adquirir una mentalidad global. Debido a estas necesidades las empresas buscan gente capacitada que les facilite la inmersión en los mercados foráneos, disminuyendo los riesgos de pérdida y maximizando las oportunidades; es por ello que surge una actividad en el campo académico que proporciona una respuesta asertiva a éstas necesidades y da como resultado una herramienta útil y en constante evolución, el negociador internacional.

ABSTRACT Now days, International business is a main subject for the enterprises. The need for higher levels of productivity and the eager for new markets, lead the enterprises to define new horizons and to think with global vision. Due to these actual needs, enterprises look forward to hire people highly qualified that might help them to enter on the international arena, at low risk and with a high rate of success possibilities. In this context, the international business professional appears as a appropriate response for the organization as he o she has the knowledge and skills needed to face successfully the challenges of the globalization.
